A general visitor is someone who is not designated as an essential caregiver and is visiting to provide non-essential services and/or for social reasons. In alignment with advice from the Ministry of Health , we encourage every individual to continue to remain up-to-date on their COVID-19 vaccines and receive all doses that are recommended as soon as they are eligible, including additional doses. Where a resident is isolating or resides in an area of the home affected by an outbreak, general visiting will be suspended and essential caregivers will be the only type of visitors allowed.
